Return Policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. To start a return, contact us at sales@unitedautofilm.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund on all accepted returns. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at sales@unitedautofilm.com.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Damage or defect claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for a return or replacement.
In cases where an item arrives damaged or defective due to our error, return shipping costs will be covered by UAF and the 10% restocking fee will be waived.
If you receive the wrong item, we will ship the correct item to you immediately at no additional charge. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the wrong item, which must be returned to us within 7 days of receiving the prepaid label. Failure to return the wrong item within this window may result in a charge for the unreturned item.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- All film products sold by the foot, including window film, paint protection film (PPF), and vinyl wrap
- Custom or special order products
- Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong item — wrong film type, tint percentage, roll width, or size — we're happy to process an exchange. To initiate an exchange, contact us at sales@unitedautofilm.com within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused and in its original, sealed packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your replacement order at our standard shipping rates.
- Restocking fee: Waived for all approved exchanges
- Return shipping: Customer's responsibility
- Replacement shipping: Billed at standard rates on the new order
Please note that items not eligible for return (film sold by the foot, custom orders, sale items) are also not eligible for exchange.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days, minus the 10% restocking fee where applicable. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at sales@unitedautofilm.com.
